ACTV is a public transport company with more than 120 floating stations (jetties) and 30 well-connected lines
You can buy tickets for 1, 2, 3 or 7 days
1 Day Travelcard = €20 / 2 Day Travelcard = €30 / 3 Day Travelcard = €40 / Day Travelcard = €60
1 single ticket =€7.50 and allows up to 75 minutes on the water network
City Centre lines cross Venice mostly using the waterways of Canal Grande and the Giudecca Canal.
They leave from Tronchetto or from Piazzale Roma and go as far as the Lido di Venezia (lines 1 and 2)
There are also connections around the external city lagoon perimeter. City Circle lines going as far as Murano
ACTV and ATVO buses leave from Piazzale Roma for the Mainland, Mestre and its city centre, the Venice Marco Polo airport

Venice does flood, so take 2 pairs of shoes just in case you’re there when this happens and an extra pair of trousers
If you’re a fan of Pandora, take a trip to the island of Murano, where you can buy Murano glass charms. Look for the “Vetro Murano Artistico” trademark decal in the windows of shops and showrooms that sell authentic Murano glass
Water bus routes 4 & 5 (motoscafi) follow the coastline around the island, hopping across and back from the island of Murano along the way
