- Connellan Airport is the name of Ayers Rock’s airport and is about a 10min drive from Yulara (Ayers Rock Resort). There are free shuttle buses and hire car desks at the airport
- A flight from Sydney to Uluru takes around 3hrs 30mins. From Melbourne, it’s around a 3hr flight
- If you’re driving from Alice Springs to Uluru, you pass Stuarts Well, the Finke River and Mt Connor
- You can catch a bus to Uluru from Alice Springs. AAT Kings and Austour are the bus companies that operate this route

- Choose from six established walks around Uluru, ranging from short to the full 10.6-km loop around the base. All walking trails are clearly signed
- On the free Mala Walk along Uluru’s base (2km return), rangers tell the story of the Mala (rufous hare-wallaby) people
- In the pre-dawn light or sunset at Uluru, you can see the Field of Light art installation by British artist Bruce Munro. Here, around 50 000 solar-powered spheres light an area the size of seven football fields
