    • For Preikestolen (the Pulpit Rock), take the ferry from Stavanger to Tau, then a corresponding bus from Tau ferry quay to Preikestolen Mountain Lodge, the starting point of the hike
    • The estimated hiking time is four hours return trip. The total duration with transport is around eight hours. The round trip ticket can be purchased in the tourist information in Stavanger or booked online
    • The price for a round ticket = NOK 360 pp
    • For the best view of the fjord, it is recommended to go early morning. Wrap up warm and take spare clothes in case it rains
