    • Bus no. 434 is a cheap way to travel around Sintra. You  can buy a ticket for €4.60 from the bus driver

  • Tips:
    • Tourist bus 434 connects Sintra train station to the Palácio Nacional da Pena and Castelo dos Mouros, and passes through the historic town center. This bus gets very busy, so it’s advisable to visit Sintra in the morning
    • You can climb the footpath from the historic center up to the Pena Palace and Moors castle, but be warned… it’s very steep and challenging
    • It is advised not to drive to Sintra, as there is very limited car parking in the historic center and hardly any near the Palácio Nacional da Pena
    • Look out for the Massive boulders and ancient trees of Capuchos
    • The Sanctuary of Peninha offers an amazing viewpoint of the Sintra coastline
