    • There are two types of buses: Tusca and small vans (Colectivos). The latter drive up and down the main highway in the area 307

    • ADO buses go to Cancun, Tulum, Merida, Coba and Chichen Itza
    • It costs 5 pesos in the center and 7 pesos for Playa Del Carmen’s outer regions
    • Bus drivers do give change, but only if it’s in a small amount
    • There are taxi stands throughout Playa del Carmen and at most of the all inclusive resorts in the area
    • Taxi prices are fixed, so there’s no meters
    • Scooters are available for rent

    • Experience a purifying Temazcal ceremony originating from pre-Hispanic Indigenous peoples, which claims to cleanse the mind, body and spirit
    • The archaeological site of Xel-Há is often missed due to people visiting Tulum, but this site offers murals not found in Tulum or Muyil and freshwater pools
    • You can access the ruins near the entrance aof the Xel-Ha Eco-park
