Colectivos, or almendrones, are shared taxis that travel along a fixed route
They are usually colorful, old cars from the 1950s with a taxi sign in the window
The standard cost is 10 Cuban peso nacionale (CUP)
Drivers will not stop if the car is full
You can also catch yellow coco taxis that are for tourists
You can also hail a pedicabs/bicycle taxi. Simply flag one down, tell the driver where you want to go. Make sure to agree the price before getting in
Havana has two bus operators – Viazul and Astro. You need to book your ticket well in advance and print out the reservation
Gua Guas are metro buses that cover central and old Havana

Wifi is difficult to get in Havana and down the streets, you’ll see crowds where people can get internet hotspots.
The wifi isn’t free, so you need to buy a card from either your hotel or an ETECSA telecommunications centre. It costs $1.00 for one-hour internet access
