    • Silver taxis are operated by authorised taxi services with metered fares
    • Pink taxis are driven by women and are exclusively for female passengers and children under the age of 10
    • Uber and Careem operate in the area
    • The city operates two passenger and vehicle ferries from the city to Delma Island and back. Operating daily, an adult ticket costs AED 20

  • Tips:
    • Car enthusiasts should visit Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, which is a motorsport-themed entertainment complex
    • Ladies are required to dress moderately, covering their hair, shoulders and knees. This is especially important when visiting the Grand Mosque, as you will not be allowed entry otherwise
    • Both men and women are prohibited from wearing anything sleeveless and men are not allowed to wear shorts. Click here for more information
    • Visitors at the mosque are asked not to take pictures holding hands etc or taking pictures while making signs with your hands
    • The mosque is closed for tourists on Friday morning, for worship time, but is open for tourism from 4:30pm- 11pm.
