Bounded on the south by the Caribbean Sea and the north by the Arctic Ocean, North America is the third largest continent in the world.

Home to less than 10% of the world’s population, the most populous country in North America is the US, which was formed in the late 1700’s and became a melting pot of people and cultures.

With a coastline spanning 37,000 miles, Lake Superior is the largest fresh water lake in the world and located on the border between the US and Canada.

Major cities include Mexico City, Toronto, New York City and Guadalajara. Meanwhile, Greenland is the biggest island on the planet.

North America is also home to major geographical features like the Rocky Mountains, Great Plains the Grand Canyon, Sonoran Desert and monumental glaciers.

From the in the buzzing metropolises in the US and captivating national parks in Canada, to the sandy beaches and pristine waters of the Caribbean, North America is a land of soul searching and bucket list adventures.

Whether you’re travelling this continent on a budget or planning a trip of a lifetime, North America is a great place to get stuck into and fall in love with.
